kokanathan. i ended up publishing my latest post on la-kopi blog instead of here. i do insist it is not O+ at work. =X
then again, it's ok, cos today got moreink crap to blog; got inspiration to post twice. mai siao siao ok.
------------------------------------------
i have been drinking coffee almost everyday, and i can safely vouch that the times where the coffee would send me running for the washroom are now all in the past. immunity has been built up! *the stella in my mind punches her right fist up in the air, weirdly to the melody of 'the final countdown'*
actually i'm glad that i am attending lessons, otherwise my mind would be restlessly wandering elsewhere searching for meaningless things to do. one such thing was looking around for cold jokes and telling them. uncle huat was almost always the first to be my guinea pig for them and after successful trial runs, i will start asking almost everyone around me and then eagerly anticipate their reactions.
maybe, just maybe. i might start the cold joke ball running again.
if my recent clothing buys of long sleeved tops for work, casual, cover-ups are any indications, it seems that the weather has not been in the optimum mode to be telling any cold jokes. it's june already, and my memories of past junes are almost always the hot sun, but it doesn't seem to be this way this year. the weather is screwed maybe.
this brings to mind something my classmate told me about someone she met once whom irritated the hell out of her. apparently that chap told her that the end of the world is arriving just because something controversial is going to happen in the near future. i was =.= when she told me and it amazes me how that person could relate a venture by the government to the end of the world. yah right, every single disturbance can cause doomsday to arrive. incredible.
well, i shan't be too hasty in concluding anything, yet. heard of the butterfly effect? "according to the actual theory, however, the mere presence of the time travelers in the past would be enough to change short-term events (such as the weather), and would also have an unpredictable impact on the distant future." if this is the theory that the person was visioning with, who could be the time travellers in this context i wonder.
or is it even worth the effort to muse too much into it.
then again, it's ok, cos today got more
